DAO Racing is pleased to confirm it will continue its partnership with Honda UK for the 2027 British Superbike Championship, with closer collaboration on the development of the new Fireblade at the heart of its plans for the season ahead.
Having switched to Honda machinery for the 2025 campaign, DAO Racing will enter its third consecutive season with the manufacturer, building on an increasingly strong working relationship.
The continued partnership will see DAO Racing work closely alongside Honda Racing UK, with both teams bringing their experience and shared work ethic to the development of a more competitive Honda package.
For DAO Racing, it represents an opportunity to build on the support established over the past two seasons, with the ambition of turning that collaboration into race-winning performance.
Jonny Bagnall, DAO Racing Team Manager, said: “We’re pleased to be remaining with Honda for 2027 and to continue building our relationship. It’s becoming stronger as we work together on shared challenges, which makes continuing that partnership even more positive.
“Honda have been so welcoming and supportive, and we’ll be working alongside them to help develop and build the new Fireblade into what we hope will be a race-winning bike.
“It’s great to have that level of support from Scot Hargreaves, Neil Fletcher and Honda UK, and we’re looking forward to working closely together.”
Scot Hargreaves, Honda Racing UK Team Manager, said: “It’s a privilege to keep DAO Racing under the Honda wing. They’re a great team with great people, and they share a similar work ethic to Honda Racing.
“I believe that, by continuing to grow together, we can build a stronger Honda package across the board. That can only be a positive and will help both of our teams.”
With Honda UK’s support and continued collaboration, DAO Racing will head into 2027 focused on developing the new Fireblade and building a package capable of challenging at the front of the British Superbike Championship. The closer collaboration provides a strong foundation for the season ahead, with both teams working to turn their shared ambition into results on track.
