DAO Racing Honda are set for action at their home round of the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park, as the season hits the halfway point, with Josh Brookes and Lee Jackson searching for success to kick-start their campaigns.
After another challenging weekend last time out in Kent at the Brands Hatch GP circuit, DAO Racing travel just two hours south of their headquarters to Oulton Park, where the pairing of Josh Brookes and Lee Jackson will look to bring home success for the team.
Brookes arrives at a circuit where his vast experience has regularly allowed him to challenge at the front of the field, including taking the team’s maiden BSB victory in 2025. The Bringelly-born man will be hoping to continue climbing the Championship standings as he looks to unlock further performance from the Honda package during the second half of the campaign.
Meanwhile, Lee Jackson will be aiming to return to the sharp end of the field after showing strong speed throughout the opening five rounds. The Lincolnshire rider has demonstrated encouraging pace at several circuits this season and will be targeting a consistent weekend to strengthen his position in the Championship, where he currently sits inside the top 10 of the standings.
With three races once again scheduled across the weekend, DAO Racing will be looking to maximise every opportunity as the team aims to make a strong start to the second half of the season.
Oulton Park’s fast, undulating International Circuit has often produced some of the closest racing on the British Superbike calendar, with its combination of flowing corners, heavy braking zones and dramatic elevation changes demanding confidence and precision from both rider and machine.

Josh Brookes: “On reflection of Brands, we left there disappointed because of the technical issue we suffered in race three, because in the second race we showed real potential and promise of where we are going with things.
“We’re focussing on the positives at the moment, and returning to Oulton Park is good because early in the year we went there with a bunch of exploratory settings and we didn’t match our best time around there, so to return again and compare where we are at is healthy to see what progress we have made over the season so far.”
Lee Jackson: “Going back to Oulton Park so early in the season doesn’t feel normal, but I’m looking forward to going back there. We have data that we gathered at round one and hopefully we can have a strong weekend.
“A strong weekend for me would be three good results within the top ten and pushing to be as close to the front as we can. I want to be as fast as I can and be pushing to be the top Honda; that’s our goal. We have made steps forward with the bike since the start of the season and I feel that will be on show this weekend.”
Team Manager Jonny Bagnall: “Returning to our home circuit is always a pleasure. Oulton Park is a fantastic venue on the BSB calendar, it always provides us with a challenge, and that’s something as a team we really enjoy.
“Our first visit this year was a challenge, but we’re in a much stronger position now than we were in May, so I’m hopeful of a better weekend for both Josh and Lee. We have won around this circuit before, that fills us with confidence, and we hope this weekend treats us with the same emotions.”
The weekend gets underway on Friday, July 31, with two free practice sessions and a pre-qualifying session. Saturday will see race one get underway after a short 10-minute free practice and qualifying session. Sunday will see the riders get two more bites of the cherry, with two races taking place over the day.
